Hawa Mahal, Jaipur
Hawa Mahal or "The Palace of Winds", is situated to one side, but it is a part of the City Palace Complex. The best view that one can catch about this monument is from the street outside.

City Palace, Udaipur

Umaid Bhawan Palace
This palace has the unique distinction of being the only palace built in 20th century. It was constructed in 16 years as a famine relief measure. It is also called Chittar Palace because of the particular type of sandstone used.

Jaisalmer Fort
Jaisal Bhatti built the Jaisalmer fort in 1156 AD on Trikuta hills. The citadel contains within it, one fourth of the city's population.


Amber Fort
Amber is the old capital of Dundhar or the erstwhile Jaipur State. Within the ramparts of the fort is the palace of Amber having Diwan-i-am, Diwan-i-khas, Sukh Niwas, Jas Mahal, decorated with pillars, carvings, inlaid, mirrors and paintings.
